ESSAY Little by little, although with much effort, on the one hand and on the other, spaces are opening up in the media that are trying to transform the collective amnesia that has characterized much of our society in terms of what it means to live in a country where freedom of expression is one of the rights emanating from our Magna Carta. In a country with freedom of expression like ours, in theory, you cannot promote racial rejection or encourage murder. Expression should never be subject to prior censorship: instead, there is self-censorship that cannot be regulated on the basis of subsequent responsibility. As an example of a denunciation, a simple journalist denounces a program for corruption and diversion of money, the justice system sides with the program in exchange for bills, and sanctions the journalist who told the truth.
